Supervision of Trainees. Trainees will be identified and will provide services only under the supervision and direction of appropriately qualified staff.
Supervision of Trainees. Trainees will function under supervision of a designated Supervising Faculty Member according to the defined goals and objectives of the Program provided in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and as applicable accreditation standards require. The Supervising Faculty Member will be solely responsible for direct clinical supervision of the Trainees and shall control the details of the medical tasks performed by the Trainees in compliance with applicable accreditation standards.
Supervision of Trainees. A) Trainees shall be under the direction of Management to which assigned. Management is authorized to move trainees between assignments in accordance with their proficiency and Maintenance or Die Maintenance department needs. B) Management will inform the Union prior to major changes in the training schedule or shift changes and will meet at the request of the Union to discuss these changes.
Supervision of Trainees. Trainees engaged in the erection, alteration or dismantling of scaffolding should be directly supervised by a competent scaffolder. The supervising scaffolder should monitor the work, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and recommended practice and be in a position to take immediate charge in the event of an emergency. Trainees should not be required to carry out scaffolding work in an isolated location out of sight and earshot of the supervising scaffolder. The appropriate ratio between certificated scaffolders and trainee scaffolders in a gang depends on the level of experience and competence gained by each trainee, the complexity of the scaffolding work being undertaken and the risks associated with any mistakes that may be made by trainees. The ratio should be determined by the employer through consultation with the supervising scaffolder, taking into account any requirements of the regulatory authority. The supervising scaffolder will be carrying out the employer’s legal obligation to supervise trainee scaffolders to perform the work safely and without risk to health.
