Surveying and ROW Mapping Sample Clauses

Surveying and ROW Mapping. Topographic survey Topographic survey will be performed and completed during preliminary design. Horizontal & Vertical Control and Topographical Surveying and Roadway Cross-Sections will include but are not limited to the following:
Surveying and ROW Mapping. The Surveyor shall evaluate the existing ROW envelope and make recommendations for the acquisition of ROW necessary for the Project including but not limited to roadway, corner cuts, sight distance triangles, detention, and outfalls, if necessary. The Surveyor shall establish a project baseline based on the centerline of the right‐of‐way. The Surveyor shall create an available existing utility list (Excel Format) including the type, owner, location, and contact information for available existing utilities within the project limits to be supplied to the Engineering Consultant to complete the identification of potential utility conflicts. The Surveyor shall sign and seal all survey documents. The specific survey limits are as follows: The linear topographic and right‐of‐way survey along 20403 West Bellfort at Grand Parkway (SH 99) – Northeast Corner of the Intersection, Fort Bend County, Texas for an approximate total of 1,300 linear feet.
Surveying and ROW Mapping. 1. Horizontal & Vertical Control and Topographical Surveying Topographic Surveying and Roadway Cross-Sections will include not limited to the following: a. Establish horizontal & vertical project control. Control shall be relative to the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD 83, 2001 adjustment) and the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88, Orthometric, Geoid 12B). b. Visible property delineators such as fence corners and other existing features to evaluate alignment alternatives within project limits. c. The linear Topographical survey along the US 90 for approximately 300 feet to the east and west of the FM 762 intersection including approximately 200 feet along intersecting public streets and for a total of approximately 1,200 linear feet. d. Obtain roadway cross sections at 100 ft. intervals. Cross-sections shall extend 30-ft beyond the existing/apparent right-of-way lines as applicable. e. Identify locations and elevations of physical features to include buildings, fences, walls, trees, sidewalks, driveways and driveway curbs, power poles, light poles, water meters, water wells, ponds, sprinklers, off-site drainpipes. f. Horizontally and vertically locate existing utilities within, crossing and adjoining project limits. Utilities will be located and tied based on visual evidence and utilities based on maps and plans provided by the Client and marked by “One Call” within the project’s limits, Flow line elevations, sizes, material types and directions of pipes will be obtained on storm sewer lines, sanitary sewer lines and culverts. The rim (top) and flow line elevations will be obtained on inlets, manholes, and drainage structures.

  • Skidding and Yarding Methods of skid- ding or yarding specified for particular areas, if any, are indicated on Sale Area Map. Outside Clearcutting Units and construction clearings, insofar as ground conditions permit, products shall not be skidded against reserve trees or groups of reproduction and tractors shall be equipped with a winch to facilitate skidding. B6.421 Rigging. Insofar as practicable, needed rigging shall be slung on stumps or trees desig- nated for cutting.

  • CUTTING AND PATCHING The Contractor shall be responsible for cutting, fitting or patching required to complete the Work or to make its parts fit together properly.

  • Felling and Bucking Felling shall be done to minimize breakage of Included Timber and dam- age to residual timber. Unless agreed otherwise, felling shall be done by saws or shears. Bucking shall be done to permit removal of all minimum pieces set forth in A2. B6.411 Felling in Clearings. Insofar as ground conditions, tree lean, and shape of clearings per- mit, trees shall be felled so that their tops do not extend outside Clearcutting Units, construction clearings, and ar- eas of regeneration cutting. B6.▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. Stumps shall not exceed, on the side adjacent to the highest ground, the maximum heights set forth in A6, except that occasional stumps of greater heights are acceptable when Purchaser determines that they are necessary for safe and efficient conduct of logging. Unless otherwise agreed, Purchaser shall re-cut high stumps so they will not exceed heights specified in A6 and shall dispose of severed portions in the same manner as other logging debris. The ▇▇▇▇▇ heights shown in A6 were selected with the objective of maximum reasonable utilization of the timber, unless Sale Area Map shows special areas where ▇▇▇▇▇ heights are lower for aesthetic, land treatment, or silvicultural rea- sons.
