Provide for enforcement of local Critical Area regulations by performing site visits, responding to complaints, issuing citations and “Stop Work” orders, and following up on mitigation and remediation efforts. Eligible Activities: • Responded to compliants, performed site visits. • Issued citations and “Stop Work” orders. • Reviewed and approved restoration and abatement plans. • Performed follow-up site visits. Deliverable Report: #1: Number of site visits and filed field reports: #2: Number of stop work orders issued: #3: Number of approved restoration/abatement plans: #4: Number of performance bonds released: Related Information: - Documentation to be kept on file includes violation files, copies of field reports, enforcement actions, signed plans, and inspection reports. TASK #3: Provide general assistance to property owners within the Critical Area including explanation of regulations and discussion of development options on properties affected by the Critical Area regulations. Eligible Activities: • Meetings, site visits and/or phone calls with members of the general public. Deliverable Report: #1: Number of citizens with whom you have provided assistance: Related Information: - Documentation to be kept on file may include meeting notes, calendar appointments, letters, sketches, or similar items. TASK #4: Use fees-in-lieu or offset monies collected to promote the goals of the Critical Area Law. Eligible Activities: • Collection of fee-in-lieu for Buffer, forest and developed woodland clearing, and stormwater. • Use of fee-in-lieu funds to plant riparian corridors, plant forest, plant FIDS habitat, install urban tree plantings, install stormwater best management practices, or other projects that may be authorized by agreement between the Commission and local jurisdiction.
