Teaching Load - Contract or Regular. 11.1.2.1 A standard full-time teaching load shall be thirty (30) teaching units per academic year, except as noted in 11.3.1 and in the English department where current practice requires 31 or 32 teaching units per year. A unit member's load may range from twenty-nine (29) teaching units to thirty (30) teaching units per year as defined in Articleand still be considered a full load. 11.1.2.2 The standard full teaching load shall consist of two (2) semesters of thirteen (13) to seventeen (17) teaching units each. (13) teaching units are required to complete thirty (30) teaching units per year.
