Teaching Status. Regardless of the status of the Board of Education-Association negotiations, all teachers shall be notified no later than June 1 of their teaching location for the following year and their placement on the salary schedule. No later than five school days after receipt of such notification, the teacher shall indicate acceptance or rejection of said location and placement. Such notification shall be subject to change only as necessitated by the provisions of the Agreement which succeeds this one. Any teacher who is not notified of termination prior to June 1 of the school year shall be deemed to have been offered reemployment for the succeeding school year.
Teaching Status. In the event an ADMINISTRATOR is reassigned to a teaching position, the BOARD will use its best efforts to guarantee the ADMINISTRATOR the maximum credit allowed on the seniority list of the teachers bargaining unit under terms of the master agreement in effect for the teaching unit at such time as the reassignment may occur. An ADMINISTRATOR so reassigned shall also be entitled to such rights as he or she is entitled under the Michigan Teacher Tenure Act. An ADMINISTRATOR relieved of his duties because of a reduction in staff, shall be offered and opportunity to be employed as a teacher subject to the terms of the master agreement in effect for the teaching unit and will be given the maximum experience credit on the salary schedule allowable under terms of the teachers' master agreement in effect at the time of the reassignment.
Teaching Status. 1. During the period of time that any teacher is assigned three, 84-minute classes or its equivalent per semester, he/she shall be relieved of all non-voluntary supervisory duties except for unforeseen circumstances. Volunteers for such coverages shall be compensated at a rate of $15 for a 42-minute period or $20 for an 84-minute period. 2. Teachers shall receive notification of their teaching assignments for the following school year prior to the close of the current school year. a. Teachers will be notified during July and August of any change in teaching assignments for the next school year. b. After the commencement of the school year, in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as death, pregnancy, injury, or any other unanticipated financial, or programmatic circumstance, the Headmaster shall have the authority to modify teaching assignments with at least 30 days notice prior to the start of the teaching assignment whenever feasible.
Teaching Status. In the event an Administrator is reassigned to a vacant teaching position, and was formerly a teacher in the District, the Administrator will assume the seniority of their total years of service with the District. An Administrator so reassigned shall also be entitled to such rights as he or she is entitled under the Michigan Teacher Tenure Act.

  • Teaching Load 11-1 The parties recognize that the number of students, the number of preparations, and the amount of planning time are related to student performance. 11-2 CLASS SIZE 11-2-1 The parties recognize that class size is related to economics and that reduction of class size is faced with fiscal constraints. The parties further recognize that it is not feasible at this time to set general numerical limitations upon class size because of physical space available, special programs, special student needs, attendance area variances, differences in scheduling systems, busing, and because of other variable causes affecting class size. Nevertheless, the parties shall make reasonable effort to maintain class size at reasonable, workable, and educationally effective levels in all situations. 11-3 TEACHER LOAD 11-3-1 Teaching load shall be defined as the number of separate class preparations that a teacher has per school day as delineated in the course description guide.

  • Reporting Status Until the date on which the Buyers shall have sold all of the Registrable Securities (the “Reporting Period”), the Company shall timely file all reports required to be filed with the SEC pursuant to the 1934 Act, and the Company shall not terminate its status as an issuer required to file reports under the 1934 Act even if the 1934 Act or the rules and regulations thereunder would no longer require or otherwise permit such termination.

  • Teaching Assignments No employee shall be assigned to teach in a grade level and/or subject area not within the scope of his/her teaching certificate, except where a position within his/her certification is unavailable or when mutually agreed to by the affected employee and principal, or when determined necessary by the principal. Employees assigned to positions outside the scope of their certificates shall be assigned as soon as possible to positions for which they hold certification.
