Technical Rehearsal. A "technical rehearsal" is defined as a rehearsal in which any three (3) of the following four (4) elements are all present or when all four (4) are present: lighting, sound, scenery (props), stage hands.
Technical Rehearsal. A “technical rehearsal” is a piano staging rehearsal on stage for the purposes of working out technical problems for scenery and/or costumes and/or lighting. This rehearsal is not necessarily a workthrough but is intended to achieve the smooth technical running of the production.

Technical Rehearsal. Your group has a maximum of three hours in your venue with your technician. You probably won’t have time to do a full run-through. This is your only opportunity to be in the space and to set cues in advance of your first performance. You may not enter the space before your tech time. We run a tight schedule, so we cannot offer extra time to visit the space. Your technician is your God(dess). Technicians have the final word on everything that happens in the venue. Please be kind to your technician, they’ll take care of you.

A “technical rehearsal” is defined as a rehearsal in which any three of the following four elements are all present or when all four are present: lighting, sound, A “technical dress rehearsal” is defined as a technical rehearsal during which costumes and/or makeup and wigs are used, and must not be attended by an audience, other than production and theatre staff and others specifically invited by the Theatre. “Costume parades” are calls where the Artist, wearing costumes to be worn in a production, is paraded before director and/or designers. These costume parades shall be deemed to be a rehearsad call.
Technical Rehearsal. I understand that no absences will be excused for this rehearsal. This is a long but crucial rehearsal. Patience is needed from all involved. Attendance is mandatory. This rehearsal will be Sunday, December 2nd.
Technical Rehearsal. The term Technical Rehearsal shall mean an appearance which includes the following elements:
1. Scenery
2. Lighting
3. Costumes as available/requested 4. Makeup for Specialized Makeup Roles only dd. Travel Overtime - The term Travel Overtime shall apply to those instances where the hourly rate of payment is the ARTIST’s category minimum weekly compensation divided by thirty (30) payable in one-half (1/2) hour increments.
Technical Rehearsal. The first piano staging and/or “Piano Technical Rehearsal” will have the purpose of addressing safety, technical issues, scenery, costumes, spacing and lighting. This rehearsal is intended to achieve the smooth technical running of the production as well as address safety, including routes to get on/off stage, traffic and general orientation, and sufficient lighting shall be maintained on/off-stage for these purposes. Once a production’s technical and safety needs have been addressed, it is possible for the stage director to use the remaining time to rehearse scenes. Work lights will be maintained in the wings for this rehearsal.
Technical Rehearsal. Costume Reminders-During the technical rehearsal, wear clothing that is close to the color of your performance costume. Do not wear WHITE or BLACK unless your character will be wearing white or black. This is for lighting purposes and helps the technical crew see how you will really look under certain lighting.
Technical Rehearsal. (i) A Technical Rehearsal is a rehearsal on the performance stage, which includes the following elements:
a. All performance scenery;
b. All performance lighting;
c. All special effects to be utilized during the performance; and
d. All props to be utilized during the performance.
(ii) A Technical Rehearsal may also include costumes. No makeup shall be required for a technical rehearsal other than specialty makeup.
(iii) In Columbus, Ohio, and with best efforts on a Run-out or Tour, prior to any run-through on stage when presenting a work for the first time that season, there will be either a work light rehearsal or a technical rehearsal, which rehearsal will provide for the opportunity for the ARTISTS to become acclimated, which may include the right to stop, repeat, and/or go slowly as reasonably needed for such acclimation. When a dance includes scenery elements that move or that unusually intrude on stage, this rehearsal shall include all relevant stage elements, which may include scenery, lights, special effects, and props. All ARTISTS cast in roles involving extraordinary risk will have the opportunity to rehearse these extraordinary risk elements before performing them live.
