TEMPORARILY WORKING IN AN EXCLUDED POSITION Sample Clauses

The 'Temporarily Working in an Excluded Position' clause defines the terms under which an employee may be assigned to a role that is normally outside the scope of their usual bargaining unit or job classification for a limited period. Typically, this clause outlines the conditions, duration, and any changes in pay or benefits that apply while the employee is in the excluded position, such as acting in a supervisory or management capacity. Its core function is to ensure clarity and fairness for both the employer and employee regarding rights, responsibilities, and compensation during temporary assignments outside the employee's regular role.
