Common use of Temporary Assignment Clause in Contracts

Temporary Assignment. When an employee is temporarily assigned by the Employer to a position for which a higher rate of pay is applicable, he/she will receive the salary rate for the assigned position in accordance with the promotional procedure as outlined in clause 25.07, provided that he/she fills that position for a period of at least one (1) day.
