Temporary Full-Time Service Porting to Regular Full-Time Clause Samples

The "Temporary Full-Time Service Porting to Regular Full-Time" clause defines how periods of temporary full-time employment are recognized when an employee transitions to a regular full-time position. Typically, this clause outlines the conditions under which service time accrued during temporary full-time assignments is credited toward benefits, seniority, or other employment entitlements once the employee becomes a regular full-time staff member. For example, it may specify that all or part of the temporary service counts toward vacation accrual or pension eligibility. The core function of this clause is to ensure fair treatment of employees by acknowledging their prior service, thereby preventing loss of earned benefits and promoting continuity in employment rights.
