Temporary Hires. The Company and Union mutually agree that a Bargaining Unit employee should not be displaced from their job assignments due to long term absence, unless the terms of Article are breached. All cases in which the Company decides that a temporary is appropriate will be discussed and mutually agreed to in advance at a Management meeting.
