Temporary Lodging Clause Samples

The Temporary Lodging clause establishes the terms under which a party is provided with short-term accommodation, typically in situations where permanent housing is not yet available or during transitional periods. This clause may specify the duration of the temporary stay, the responsibilities for payment, and any conditions or limitations on the use of the lodging, such as maintenance obligations or restrictions on guests. Its core practical function is to ensure both parties understand their rights and obligations regarding temporary housing arrangements, thereby preventing disputes and providing clarity during periods of transition.
Temporary Lodging. Reasonable expenses of occupying temporary lodging (excluding meals) in the new job location may be reimbursed for up to 30 consecutive calendar days or until permanent lodging is established, whichever is earlier.   • Temporary Layoff The Employer may temporarily layoff an employee for up to ninety (90) days due to an unanticipated loss of funding, revenue shortfall, lack of work, shortage of material or equipment, or other unexpected or unusual reasons. An employee will normally receive seven (7) days notice of a temporary layoff.
