Common use of Temporary Out-of-Scope Assignment Clause in Contracts

Temporary Out-of-Scope Assignment. Where an Employee is directed to substitute on another job outside the scope of the bargaining unit, the Employee will receive, in addition to their basic rate of pay, a minimum amount of two dollars ($2.00) per hour. An Employee so assigned shall continue to be covered by the terms and conditions of this Collective Agreement.
