Common use of Temporary Pay Clause in Contracts

Temporary Pay. When a bargaining unit employee is assigned the duties of an absent employee in a higher pay grade, in lieu of her/his own duties, the employee will be paid at her/his regular hourly rate or the higher pay grade rate, whichever is greater.
