Temporary Transfers. 13.01 Any Employee who, for the convenience of the Company is temporarily transferred to another job in which the rate of pay is different from that in effect in such Employees regular job, shall be paid, while so employed as follows: a) If the rate of pay in the job to which the employee is transferred is less than the Employees regular pay, he/she shall receive their own regular rate of pay; b) If the rate of pay in the job to which the employee is transferred is higher than the Employees regular pay, he/she shall receive the higher rate of pay of the job to which he/she is temporarily transferred. 13.02 An Employee, who for the convenience and benefit of the Employee, is temporarily transferred to another job instead of being laid off due to lack of work, breakdown of machinery or other like cause, shall be paid, while so employed as follows: a) If the rate of pay in the job to which the employee is transferred is less that the Employees regular pay, he/she shall receive the lower rate paid in the job to which they are transferred; b) If the rate of pay in the job to which the employee is transferred is higher than the employees regular pay, the employee shall receive such higher rate provided they display: skills, ability and experience relatively equal to that of the employees in the job to which the employee is transferred; and until such time as the employee displays such relative skill, ability and experience the employee shall continue to receive his/her own regular rate but in no case shall the employee receive less than the starting rate of the job to which he/she is transferred. 13.03 Temporary transfers shall not exceed thirty (30) working days unless the parties mutually agree that such period should be extended. Employees transferred under this article if any rate change is required shall receive the new rate commencing at the start of the day following the date of the transfer. Temporary Transfers. 13.01 15.01 Any Employee employee who, for the convenience of the Company company is temporarily transferred to another job classification in which the rate of pay is different from that in effect in on such Employees employee's regular job, shall be paid, while so employed employed, as follows:

In such case, the Apprentice will be paid the difference, in cents per hour, between the Journeyperson rate of pay and the Field Service Level 1 rate of pay for each hour worked.

13.03 Temporary transfers b) if the rate of pay for the job classification to which he/she is transferred is higher than the employee's regular pay, he/she shall receive the higher rate of pay except in job classifications where more than one level of competence is established in which case he/she will receive the first level of the job title to which he/she is assigned.
15.03 A temporary transfer made pursuant to Section 15.01 other than those made for the purpose of filling a job because of sickness, accident or a leave of absence, shall not exceed thirty (30) working days. Any extensions beyond thirty (30) days unless will require the parties mutually agree that such period should be extended. Employees transferred under this article if any rate change is required shall receive the new rate commencing at the start consent of the day following the date parties, and such consent will not be reasonably withheld. The Union will be given written notice of the transferall temporary transfers expected to last in excess of one
(1) week.
15.04 a) The Company will solicit volunteers interested in future temporary assignments to remote sites in January and July of each year. An Employee working overtime at Volunteers will be offered remote site rotations on a job of a higher category rotating schedule based on departmental seniority, site eligibility and skill and ability. Declined site rotations will receive the higher ratebe treated as accepted rotations.

Temporary Transfers. 13.01 Any Employee who(a) When an employee has been temporarily transferred to a different classification, for a period of four (4) consecutive hours or more, or a double transfer, they will be paid $0.35 an hour for such hours worked. It is the understanding of the Company and the Union that the intent of this section was to compensate employees when temporarily transferring them to another position at the will of the company for short periods of time. To more clearly define the intent of this clause, it is agreed that this will not include transfers to other positions as a result of layoffs and or a loss of business in a given area. It is also understood that the maximum time that this increase will be paid is 6 weeks (contract definition of a short-term transfer). The Company agrees to advise the Union prior to layoffs or loss of business so that there will be a clear understanding as to the exclusion of this clause.
(b) When a qualified employee who has been reclassified downward to a lower rated job due to lack of work, is asked to work in his/her former job classification for a period of four (4) consecutive hours in any one shift, or a total of sixteen (16) non- consecutive hours in any one pay period, then he/she will be paid for all such hours worked at the rate he/she had formerly received while working full time in this job.
(c) When an employee on a lower rated job is asked to work on a higher rated job for a period of four (4) consecutive hours in any one shift, or a total of sixteen (16) non- consecutive hours in any one pay period, then he/she will be paid a rate no less than the minimum of the range of the higher rated job for all such hours worked. An employee who has attained seniority, who is already working in the section or who had worked in the section previously, shall be paid a rate no less than one-third of the difference between the top and the bottom of the range below the maximum of the higher rated job on which he or she is asked to work.
(d) Time worked and paid for under (a), (b) and (c) above, must constitute the hours worked requirements as indicated, and will not include casual hours worked on occasion as relief or substitute.
(e) An employee who is transferred to a lower rated job for the convenience of the Company is temporarily transferred to another job in which the will retain his/her present hourly rate of pay is different from that in effect in such Employees regular job, shall be paid, while so employed as follows:employed.
a(f) If A temporary work assignment shall not exceed a period of six (6) consecutive weeks without being discussed with the rate Union. The six (6) week period can be extended by mutual agreement between the parties. In the event the parties can not reach agreement to extend the temporary work assignment, the Company shall post the job for permanent assignment.
(g) The Company agrees to discuss temporary assignments at monthly union/management meetings.
(h) Upon request from the Union, the Company shall provide the local Union President with copies of pay all temporary transfers. When the company requires a temporary transfer the most junior qualified employee(s) in the job to which the employee is transferred is less than the Employees regular pay, he/she classification of management’s choice shall receive their own regular rate of pay;
b) If the rate of pay in the job to which the employee is transferred is higher than the Employees regular pay, he/she shall receive the higher rate of pay of the job to which he/she is temporarily be transferred.
13.02 An Employee, who for the convenience and benefit of the Employee, is temporarily transferred to another job instead of being laid off due to lack of work, breakdown of machinery or other like cause, shall be paid, while so employed as follows:

13.02 An Employee, employee who for the convenience and benefit of the Employee, is temporarily transferred to another a different job instead because of being laid off due staff reduction shall have the right to lack of work, breakdown of machinery or other like cause, shall be paid, while so employed as follows:
a) If the rate of pay in the job return to which the employee is transferred is less that the Employees regular pay, he/she shall receive the lower rate paid in the job to which they are transferred;
b) If the rate of pay in the job to which the employee is transferred is higher than the employees regular pay, the employee shall receive such higher rate provided they display: skills, ability and experience relatively equal to that of the employees in the job to which the employee is transferred; and until such time as the employee displays such relative skill, ability and experience the employee shall continue to receive his/her own regular rate but in no case shall the employee receive less than the starting rate of the previous job to which he/she is transferredif it becomes a vacancy.
13.03 Temporary transfers Transfer of employees to non-bargaining unit positions shall not exceed be subject to the provisions of this Collective Agreement. An employee transferred out of the bargaining unit shall accumulate seniority for a period of three (3) months and should such employee decide to return to the bargaining unit or be returned by the Company during the three (3) months period, they shall be returned to the job classification and department held by such employee immediately prior to such transfer. Employees transferred back into the bargaining unit after three months will start as a new employee.
13.04 In filling temporary vacancies for periods of less than one-week, the Company shall transfer in accordance with the requirements of Section 9.04 giving preference first to those on the same shift as the vacancy. In filling temporary vacancies for periods in excess of one-week, the Company shall transfer in accordance with the requirements of 9.04 without regard to the shift of the transferee. A temporary transfer shall be for a maximum of thirty (30) working days unless days.
13.05 The Company agrees, before temporarily transferring an employee on an extended transfer (which in any case shall not result in an employee having their pay increased upward by more than the parties mutually agree pay for the classification), that the Company would in such period should be extended. Employees transferred under this article if any rate change is required shall receive cases where it involved an upward transfer out of seniority, discuss such transfers with the new rate commencing at Union before the start of the day following the date of the transfer. An Employee working overtime at a job of a higher category will receive the higher rateCompany makes its final decision.

Temporary Transfers. 13.01 (a) Any Employee employee who has been classified on a specified job classification, and who, for the convenience of the Company Company, is temporarily transferred to another job classification in which the base rate of pay is different from to that in effect in such Employees employee's regular jobjob classification, shall be paid, paid while so employed as follows:
a(i) If the base rate of pay in the job classification to which the employee he/she is transferred is less than the Employees employee's regular pay, he/she shall receive their his/her own regular higher base rate of pay;except when an employee is transferred from a non- incentive job classification to an incentive job classification. In this situation he/she shall receive the normal rate for the classification to which he/she is temporarily transferred as long as the incentive earnings equals or exceeds the non incentive rate.
b(ii) If the base rate of pay in for the job classification to which the employee he/she is transferred is higher than the Employees rate of pay for the employee's regular payjob classification, he/she shall receive the higher normal job rate of pay of for the job classification to which he/she is temporarily transferred.
13.02 (b) An Employeeemployee who, who for the convenience and benefit of the Employee, employee is temporarily transferred to another job classification instead of being laid off due to lack of work, breakdown of machinery or other like cause, shall be paid, paid while so employed as follows:
a(i) If the base rate of pay in the job classification to which the employee he/she is transferred is less that than the Employees employee's regular pay, he/she shall receive the lower rate paid in the job classification to which they are he/she is transferred;.
b(ii) If the base rate of pay in the job classification to which the employee he/she is transferred is higher than the employees employee's regular pay, the employee pay he/she shall receive such higher rate provided they display: skillshe/she displays efficiency, skill and ability and experience relatively equal to that of the employees in the job classification to which the employee he/she is transferred; and until such time as the employee he/she displays such relative skillefficiency, ability and experience the employee skill or ability, he/she shall continue to receive his/her own regular rate but in no case shall the employee receive less than the starting rate of the job to which he/she is transferredrate.
13.03 16:02 DURATION OF TRANSFERS
(a) Between Departments Temporary transfers shall transfers, not exceed exceeding thirty (30) working days unless will not be posted, but the parties mutually agree that such period should Union will be extendedadvised in advance if possible. Employees By mutual consent between Union and Management job postings can be waived for temporary jobs exceeding thirty (30) working days.
(b) Within Departments When an employee has been transferred under this article if any rate change to another classification and the position is required to become permanent Article 16 shall receive the new rate commencing at the start of the day following the date of the transferapply after thirty (30) working days. An Employee By mutual consent between Union and Management job postings can be waived for temporary jobs exceeding thirty (30) working overtime at a job of a higher category will receive the higher ratedays.

b) If the rate of pay in the job to requires additional training or skills which the employee is transferred is higher than the employees regular payhas not had an opportunity to learn, the employee shall receive such higher rate provided they display: skills, ability and experience relatively equal to that of the employees in the job to which the employee is transferred; and until such time as the employee displays such relative skill, ability and experience the employee shall continue to receive his/her own regular rate but in no case shall the employee receive less than the starting rate of the job to which he/she is transferred.

13.04 When it is necessary to transfer an employee out of the department because of a temporary work stoppage (duration of the day) the less senior employee shall be transferred, and the employee whose job is temporarily stopped will remain in the department doing the work of that person who was transferred.
13.05 Employees not wishing to transfer to another job offered must sign a release slip so indicating the job that was offered and refused.

Temporary Transfers. 13.01 Any Employee whoIt is recognized by the parties to this Agreement that changes in operations may require shifting of employees for temporary periods to other than their regular jobs. To assure uniformity in pay when any of these changes occur, for the convenience of the Company following procedures will be followed.
1. Whenever an employee is temporarily transferred to another job in which the rate of pay is different moved from that in effect in such Employees his/her regular job, shall be paid, while so employed as follows:
a) If the rate of pay in the job to which the employee is transferred is less than the Employees regular pay, he/she shall receive their own regular rate of pay;
b) If the rate of pay in the job to which the employee is transferred is a higher than the Employees regular payrated job, he/she shall receive the higher rate. This higher rate does not apply when employees are reassigned to higher rated jobs for periods not in excess of pay of the one (1) hour to replace employees for reasons such as tardiness, breaks or lunch periods or meetings.
2. Whenever during his/her regular shift an employee is required or ordered to move from his/her regular job to which he/she is temporarily transferred.
13.02 An Employee, who for the convenience and benefit of the Employee, is temporarily transferred to another job instead of being laid off due to lack of work, breakdown of machinery or other like cause, shall be paid, while so employed as follows:
a) If the rate of pay in the job to which the employee is transferred is less that the Employees regular paya lower rated job, he/she shall receive the lower rate paid in the job to which they are transferred;
b) If the rate of pay in the job to which the employee is transferred is higher than the employees regular pay, the employee shall receive such higher rate provided they display: skills, ability and experience relatively equal to that of the employees in the job to which the employee is transferred; and until such time as the employee displays such relative skill, ability and experience the employee shall continue to receive the higher rate of the job on which he/she started the shift for the balance of that shift.
3. When an employee, at the request of the Company, accepts temporary work in a lower rated job, either before or after his/her regular shift or on his/her “day off” in order to fill a vacancy or perform extra work, he/she will receive their regular rate.
4. When an employee, at his/her own request and for his/her own convenience, is temporarily assigned extra work before or after his/her regular rate but in no case shall the employee receive less than the starting rate of the job to which shift or on his/her “day off”, he/she is transferredto receive the job rate of the work assigned.
13.03 Temporary transfers shall not exceed thirty (30) working days unless the parties mutually agree that such period should be extended5. Employees transferred under this article if any rate change is required shall receive the new rate commencing at the start of the day following the date of the transfer. An Employee working overtime at a job of a higher category A lead hand, when assigned, will receive a minimum of seventy-five (75) cents above his/her rate, or the higher highest rate supervised, whichever is higher.
6. A Team Leader, when assigned, will receive a minimum of $1.25 above his/her rate.
7. One (1) week notice will be provided to employees affected by shift change notice. (Emergencies excepted) SECTION 20 - WORKING CONDITIONS & HOURS OF WORK (SEVEN DAY)

Should there be no available alternative work, the job affected worker(s) may then use their seniority to which the displace a junior employee is transferred is less that the Employees regular pay, he/she shall receive the lower rate paid in the job to any classification in which they are transferred;
b) If have the ability to perform the available work. The affected employee’s hourly rate of pay in the job to which the employee is transferred is higher than the employees regular pay, the employee shall receive such higher rate provided they display: skills, ability and experience relatively equal will be adjusted to that of the employees in the job to classification into which the employee is transferred; and until such time as the employee displays such relative skill, ability and experience the employee shall continue to receive his/her own regular rate but in no case shall the employee receive less than the starting rate of the job to which he/she is transferredthey bump.
13.03 Temporary transfers shall not exceed 2. When it is known to the Company that an employee will miss work for period of thirty (30) working days unless or less and as a result a vacancy as deemed by the parties mutually agree Company exists in that such classification, the Company will:
(a) Recall for the duration of the vacancy the most senior employee laid off from that classification, regardless of shift, to fill the vacancy, if necessary, or

No employee will be forced to accept a temporary assignment provided there are junior employees available who have the ability to perform the required work.
3. When is known to the Company that an employee will miss work for a period should be extendedof more than thirty (30) working days, and a vacancy as deemed by the Company exists the Company will:
(a) Recall for the duration of the vacancy the most senior laid off employee who is willing and able, regardless of shift, to fill the vacancy, if necessary, or
(b) Post the temporary position in keeping with the provisions of Article 13 – Job Posting of the Collective Agreement.
4. Employees transferred under this article if any rate change is required shall receive If the new rate commencing at Company receives notice of an absence more than one (1) hour prior to the start of the day following affected shift, and a vacancy as deemed by the date Company exists the Company will recall the most senior employee laid off from that classification currently working the affected shift. If the Company receives notice of an absence within one (1) hour prior to the transfershift or any time during that shift and as a result a vacancy as deemed by the Company exists and there are no employees available on that shift to recall, the Company may temporarily transfer the most senior employee working that shift who has the ability to perform the required work.
5. An Employee working overtime at a job If an employee is temporarily transferred from their original classification during the shift due to lack of a higher category work in their home classification, they will receive the higher ratetransferred to any available work. Such ‘available work’ will not displace any workers in that classification.

14:04 A seniority list shall be prepared by the Company and provided to the Union Committee. The list shall be revised whenever requested by the Union Committee not more frequently than once every three (3) months.
14:05 In the event that an employee covered by this Agreement should be promoted to a supervisor or confidential position beyond the scope of this Agreement, he/she shall retain seniority previously acquired for a period of six (6) months. This shall not exceed thirty prevent an employee from returning to the bargaining unit during that six (306) working days unless the parties mutually agree that such period should be extended. Temporary Transfers. 13.01 Any Employee who(a) When an employee has been temporarily transferred to a different classification, for a period of four (4) consecutive hours or more, they will be paid $0.35 an hour for such hours worked. It is the understanding of the Company and the Union that the intent of this section was to compensate employees when temporarily transferring them to another position at the will of the company for short periods of time. To more clearly define the intent of this clause, it is agreed that this will not include transfers to other positions as a result of layoffs and or a loss of business in a given area. It is also understood that the maximum time that this increase will be paid is 6 weeks (contract definition of a short-term transfer). The Company agrees to advise the Union prior to layoffs or loss of business so that there will be a clear understanding as to the exclusion of this clause.
(b) When a qualified employee who has been reclassified downward to a lower rated job due to lack of work, is asked to work in his/her former job classification for a period of four (4) consecutive hours in any one shift, or a total of sixteen (16) non- consecutive hours in any one pay period, then he/she will be paid for all such hours worked at the rate he/she had formerly received while working full time in this job.
(c) When an employee on a lower rated job is asked to work on a higher rated job for a period of four (4) consecutive hours in any one shift, or a total of sixteen (16) non- consecutive hours in any one pay period, then he/she will be paid a rate no less than the minimum of the range of the higher rated job for all such hours worked. An employee who has attained seniority, who is already working in the section or who had worked in the section previously, shall be paid a rate no less than one-third of the difference between the top and the bottom of the range below the maximum of the higher rated job on which he or she is asked to work.
(d) Time worked and paid for under (a), (b) and (c) above, must constitute the hours worked requirements as indicated, and will not include casual hours worked on occasion as relief or substitute.
(e) An employee who is transferred to a lower rated job for the convenience of the Company is temporarily transferred to another job in which the will retain his/her present hourly rate of pay is different from that in effect in such Employees regular job, shall be paid, while so employed as follows:employed.
a(f) If A temporary work assignment shall not exceed a period of six (6) consecutive weeks without being discussed with the rate Union. The six (6) week period can be extended by mutual agreement between the parties. In the event the parties can not reach agreement to extend the temporary work assignment, the Company shall post the job for permanent assignment.
(g) The Company agrees to discuss temporary assignments at monthly union/management meetings.
(h) Upon request from the Union, the Company shall provide the local Union President with copies of pay all temporary transfers. When the company requires a temporary transfer the most junior qualified employee(s) in the job to which the employee is transferred is less than the Employees regular pay, he/she classification of management’s choice shall receive their own regular rate of pay;
b) If the rate of pay in the job to which the employee is transferred is higher than the Employees regular pay, he/she shall receive the higher rate of pay of the job to which he/she is temporarily be transferred.

Any extensions beyond thirty (30) days unless will require the parties mutually agree that such period should be extended. Employees transferred under this article if any rate change is required shall receive the new rate commencing at the start consent of the day following the date parties, and such consent will not be reasonably withheld. Temporary Transfers. 13.01 Where a temporary transfer is required, the Company will offer such assignment in order of seniority to qualified employees on site. The work so assigned may be changed with the consent of the employee accepting the transfer. In the event of rejection by senior qualified employees available, the Company may assign employees beginning with the least senior qualified employee available to be transferred.
1. Any Employee employee who, for the convenience of the Company Company, is temporarily transferred to another job classification in which the rate of pay is different from to that in effect in such Employees employee’s regular jobclassification, shall be paid, while so employed employed, as follows:
(a) If the rate of pay in the job classification to which the employee he/she is transferred is less than the Employees employee’s regular pay, he/she shall receive their his/her own regular rate of pay;pay and the least senior available employee on site will be so transferred. Should there be no available qualified employees on site, the Company will call, as required, qualified employees to work either on a straight time hourly basis or on an overtime basis. Temporary transfers to lower paid classifications will be limited to one pay scale, as per schedule A. It is understood that the transfer will only occur when there is work to do in the lower classification. In the event that the job offered is at a pay scale that is two or more steps below his normal classification, the employee will have the option of accepting said transfer or leaving the plant. It is further understood that the employee will not be transferred to a lower classification unless he can do the job.
(b) If the rate of pay in the job classification to which the employee he is transferred transferred, is equal to or higher than the Employees employee’s regular pay, he/she he shall receive for the higher balance of the shift the rate of pay of the job classification to which he/she is temporarily transferred.
13.02 An Employee, who for the convenience and benefit of the Employee, is temporarily transferred to another job instead of being laid off due to lack of work, breakdown of machinery or other like cause, shall be paid, while so employed as follows:
a) If the rate of pay in the job to which the employee he is transferred is less that and the Employees regular pay, he/she shall receive the lower rate paid in the job to which they are transferred;

Should there be no available qualified employees on site, the Company will call, as required, qualified employees to work either on a straight time hourly basis or on an overtime basis.
2. Employees who have been reclassified for any reason shall have the right to a temporary transfer into his prior job classification when a temporary transfer opportunity becomes available, provided it is within one (1) year and also there is no premium or overtime payments required and an adequate substitute is available to fill the position vacated by the reclassified employee.
3. When a maintenance job is left incomplete at a shift end, no temporary transfers from other departments will be made to complete the repairs if the maintenance employees on the job of a higher category will receive are willing to work overtime to complete the higher raterepairs.

15.02 Employees who are assigned by the Employer to perform management duties for a full shift (assignment to "Manager on Duty" or performance of sporadic duties of the "Manager on Duty" class will not qualify such time as person for this premium) will receive a premium of $1.00 per hour for all hours they perform such duties. An employee temporarily assigned by the employee displays such relative skillEmployer for one hour or more to perform duties in higher rated category shall be paid not less than the start rate for that category. Temporary Transfers. 13.01 Any Employee whoThe Company has the right to make temporary transfers for periods not exceeding thirty (30) calendar days without following the job posting procedure. The Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ of the department will be given written notice of temporary transfers in excess of five (5) days. Temporary Transfers. 13.01 Any Employee Where a position becomes vacant, or an employee will be absent, for a period of up to twelve (12) weeks, the Union agrees to waive the job posting requirements provided that a senior employee within the department concerned,who meets the minimum qualifications for the position, be given first consideration for the posi- tion and the Union is so notified. It is further understood that where a position is temporarily vacant for a-period longer than twelve 2) weeks, then the Human Resource Services Division and two (2) representatives of the Union will meet within three (3) working days to assess the need for posting the position. In the event that agreement is reached, such position shall be posted for two (2) work- ing days and the provisions of Article shall apply. An employee who, for the forthe convenience of the Company Corporation, is temporarily transferred to another job anotherjob classification in which the rate of pay is different from that in effect in such Employees regular jobclassification, shall be paid, paid while so employed as follows:
a) : If the rate of pay in the job classification to which the employee he is transferred is less than the Employees employee’s regular pay, he/she he shall receive their his own regular higher rate of pay;
b) . If the rate of pay in the job classification to which the employee he is transferred is higher than the Employees employee’s regular pay, he/she he shall receive re- ’ ceive the higher rate of pay of in the job classification to which he/she he is temporarily transferred.
13.02 An Employee, who provided the employee dis- plays efficiency, or ability equal to that of the employees in the classification to which he is transferred. Any employee who, for the convenience and benefit of the Employee, employee is temporarily temporar- ily transferred to another job classifica- tion instead of being laid off due to lack of work, breakdown of machinery machinery, or other like cause, shall be paid, while paid so employed em- ployed as follows:
a) : If the rate of pay in the job classification to which the employee he is transferred is less that than the Employees employee’s regular pay, he/she he shall receive the lower rate paid of pay in the job thejob classifica- tion to which they are he is transferred;
b) . If the rate of pay in the job classification to which the employee he is transferred is higher than the employees employee’s regular pay, the employee he shall receive re- ceive such higher rate rate, provided they display: skillshe dis- plays efficiency, skill and ability and experience relatively equal to that of the employees in the job employeesin thejob classifica- tion to which the employee he is transferred; . Where he does not display such efficiency, and until such time as the employee displays such relative skillability, ability and experience the employee he shall continue to receive his/her his own regular rate but in no case shall the employee receive less than the starting rate of the job to which he/she is transferred.
13.03 Temporary transfers shall not exceed thirty pay for a period of sixty-five (3065) working days unless the parties mutually agree that such period should be extended. Employees transferred under this article if any rate change is required shall receive the new rate commencing at the start of the day following the date of the transfer. Leaveofabsencewithpay shallbegranted to such officers or duly elected or ap- pointed representatives of the Union as may be requiredto attendmeetings called during hours, or to tract negotiations,grievanceprocedure or that may properlycome before the Corporation and the Union. Permission to attend such meetings will be secured before leaving assigned work. No more than one delegate from a Section will be named from a Section of ten em- ployees or less. 13.02 An Employee, who for the convenience and benefit of the Employeeem or to enable to avoid layoff, is temporarily transferred to another job instead of being laid off due to lack of work, breakdown of machinery or other like cause, shall be paid, while so employed as follows:
a) If the rate of pay in the job classification to which the employee is transferred is less that than the Employees employee’s regular pay, he/she shall receive the lower rate paid in the job to which they are transferred;
b) If the rate of pay in the job to which the employee is transferred is higher than the employees regular pay, the employee pa shall receive such higher lesser rate provided they display: skills, ability and experience relatively equal after (5) working days. An employee who is to that a different job because of staff shall have the right to return to job if it becomes a vacancy within ninety Transfer of employees to non-bargaining unit shallnot be subject to the provisions of this Collective Agreement.
