TERM AND OPTIONS Clause Samples

The 'Term and Options' clause defines the duration of the agreement and any provisions for extending or renewing that period. Typically, it specifies the initial length of the contract and outlines any options available to one or both parties to renew or extend the agreement, often under certain conditions or with advance notice. This clause ensures both parties are clear on how long their obligations last and provides a structured process for continuing or ending the relationship, thereby reducing uncertainty and facilitating long-term planning.
