Common use of Termination of Leave Clause in Contracts

Termination of Leave. Upon termination of the industrial accident or illness leave, the member shall be entitled to the benefits provided for sick leave in the Education Code, and this Article and their absence for such purpose shall be deemed to have commenced on the date of termination of the industrial accident or illness leave, provided that if the member continues to receive temporary disability indemnity, they may elect to take as much of their accumulated sick leave which when added to their temporary disability indemnity will result in payment to them of not more than their full salary.
