Common use of Time Changes Clause in Contracts

Time Changes. When daylight savings time occurs, the following procedure will be used: 1. In the fall, when the clock moves back one hour, if officers work their full (regular) number of shift hours and work the extra hour due to the clock change, they will be paid an extra hour’s pay at his/her overtime rate. 2. In the spring, when the clock moves ahead one hour and officers work one less hour they will be compensated for the full (regular) number of hours in their normal shift.
