Tips and Gratuities. All tips and/or gratuities (collectively referred to as “Tips”) that are received from customers will be placed into an employee-controlled “Tip Pool”. Unless otherwise determined, all Tips are considered “Direct Tips” in accordance with the BC Employment Standards Act, and regulations of the CRA. Cash tips are to be collected and pooled at each store. Once every other week, two employees designated by the membership, will divide the tips amongst the staff, Front and Back of House, at each store based on the number of hours worked. Tips are to be paid out in the week following each pay day.
