Transfers and Seniority Outside of the Bargaining Unit. (F/T,P/T) No employee shall be transferred by the Employer to a position outside the Bargaining Unit without his consent. If an employee is transferred to a position outside the bargaining unit, he shall retain his seniority acquired at the date of leaving the Unit, but will not accumulate any further seniority. Upon completion of a six (6) month period, his seniority will become null and void in the bargaining unit. If an employee returns to the bargaining unit within the six (6) month period, he shall accumulate seniority during the period of time outside the bargaining unit, he shall be placed in his former classification, provided he has seniority over the present employee. Such return shall not result in the lay-off or bumping of an employee holding greater seniority.
