Transitional Provision Clause Samples
A Transitional Provision is a clause that outlines how changes in law, policy, or contractual terms will be implemented over a specific period. It typically specifies which rules apply to ongoing situations or existing agreements during the transition from an old regime to a new one, and may set deadlines or conditions for compliance. This clause ensures a smooth and orderly shift by clarifying the treatment of rights, obligations, or procedures that straddle the change, thereby preventing confusion or disputes during the transition period.
