Trustee and Agents May Hold Notes; Collections, etc Sample Clauses

This clause permits the trustee and its agents to hold the notes or securities issued under the agreement, and to receive payments or collections related to those notes, in their own capacity as holders. In practice, this means that the trustee or its agents are not disqualified from owning the notes or from participating in distributions, interest payments, or other collections just because they are also performing administrative or fiduciary roles. The core function of this clause is to clarify that there is no conflict of interest in the trustee or its agents holding notes, thereby ensuring transparency and avoiding disputes over their eligibility to receive payments.
