The Unbundled Port Features clause defines the specific functionalities or services that are provided separately from a standard bundled offering at a network port. In practice, this means that customers can select and pay for only the individual features they require—such as enhanced security, monitoring, or bandwidth management—rather than being obligated to purchase a full suite of services. This clause allows for greater flexibility and cost efficiency, ensuring that customers only pay for what they need and service providers can clearly delineate the scope of their obligations.
Unbundled Port Features. 4.2.9.1 Charges for Unbundled Port are as set forth in Exhibit B, and as specified in such exhibit, may or may not include individual features.
4.2.9.2 Where applicable and available, non-switch-based services may be ordered with the Unbundled Port at BellSouth’s retail rates.
4.2.9.3 Any features that are not currently available but are technically feasible through the switch can be requested through the- BFR/NBR process.
