The Uninterrupted Lunch clause guarantees that employees are entitled to a designated lunch break during which they are not required to perform any work duties. Typically, this means that the lunch period is free from interruptions such as phone calls, meetings, or work-related requests, and employees are not expected to remain at their workstations. The core purpose of this clause is to ensure employees have a genuine opportunity to rest and recharge during the workday, promoting well-being and compliance with labor regulations regarding meal breaks.
Uninterrupted Lunch. No teacher shall be assigned any duty or be required to attend meetings during the teacher’s uninterrupted 30-minute lunch time.
