Common use of Union Management Committees Clause in Contracts

Union Management Committees. The Employer will recognize the following Committees of Employees for the respective purposes shown: a) The Bargaining Committee consisting of not more than six (6) representatives of the Union for the purpose of negotiating this Agreement and its renewal; b) The Employee Relations Committee consisting of five (5) representatives of the Union and up to five (5) representatives of the Employer to meet bi–monthly or by mutual arrangement for the purpose of discussing any matters of mutual interest; c) The Grievance Committee consisting of three (3) representatives of the Union and three (3) representatives of the Employer. The Union representatives shall comprise the President, or designated alternate, the Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, or designated alternate and the appropriate Area ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.
