UNION MEMBERSHIP AND CHECK-OFF. 5.01 Neither the Employer nor the Union will compel employees to join the Union. The Employer will not discriminate against any employee because of Union membership or lack of it, and will inform all new employees of the contractual relationship between the Employer and the Union. Before commencing work, any new employee will be introduced by the Employer to the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ in her/his department. 5.02 The Union agrees that it shall make membership in the Union available to all employees covered by this Agreement.
