Union Representatives and Official Time. ‌‌ Section 14.01 A. The provision for Union representatives, and the use of official time to perform representational activities as provided herein, are negotiated pursuant to the Federal Service Labor-Management Relations Statute and shall be administered in accordance with said Statute.

The Parties agree that the use of official time for the activities identified in this Article contributes to the effective conduct of the Employer's business in the public interest. B. The Union agrees to provide to the Employer (Office of Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and Performance Management) a list of stewards/representatives as described above, within thirty (30) workdays after the effective date of this Article. The Union will also provide to the Employer written notice of any changes (additions or deletions) in such a list at least two (2) workdays in advance of the effective date of the change. No more than two representatives can report to the same first-line supervisor. A. Union Representatives and Official Time. If a change in working conditions as a result of an EEO settlement triggers a duty to bargain under the Federal Service Labor-Management Relations ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ (▇ ▇.▇.▇. §▇▇▇▇ et seq.), Article 32, Mid-Term Negotiations will apply. The Union will disclose information related to individual EEO settlements only to those with a need to know.

  • UNION REPRESENTATIVE'S VISITS 30.01 Duly authorized full-time representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit the Co-operative for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members and unsigned employees and to ensure that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented. 30.02 The interview of an employee by a Union Representative shall be permitted, after notifying the General Manager or their designated representative, and shall be: (a) carried on in a place within the Co-operative's premises designated by management; (b) held whenever possible during the lunch period; however, if this is not practical; (c) held during the regular working hours; time taken for such interview in excess of five (5) minutes shall not be on Co-operative time unless with the approval of management; (d) held at such times as will not interfere with service to the public.
