Common use of UNION SECURITY AND CHECK Clause in Contracts

UNION SECURITY AND CHECK. OFF 5.01 The Hospital shall deduct on the regular monthly deduction date from each employee in the bargaining unit, a sum equal to union dues as certified by the Union and remit such sum to the Union accompanied by a list of the names of all employees from whose wages the deductions have been made. 5.02 The Union will provide the Employer with a copy of their dues policy. The Union will save the Employer harmless from all deductions made from an employee’s pay under this Article. 5.03 Employees who cannot support the Union because of conscientious objection, as determined by the Union’s internal guidelines, may apply to the Union in writing.
