UNION SECURITY AND DUES. All Casual Employees, who are not already members of the Union, shall become members of the Union by the pay period immediately following completion of thirty (30) calendar days of employment. All such employees shall remain members of the Union as a condition of employment provided that no employee shall be deprived of employment by reason of loss of membership in the Union for reasons other than failure to pay the regular Union dues that all other members of the Union are required to pay to the Union. All Casual Employees shall pay the Union an amount equal to the Union dues that all other members of the Union are required to pay, such payment to be made by payroll deduction. This deduction shall become effective on the employee's first day of work.
