Union Shop Stewards. 17.01 The Company agrees to recognize all Union Shop Stewards appointed and/or elected by the Union to represent employees in the bargaining unit for the purpose of overseeing and ensuring that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented and for the purpose of presenting complaints and/or grievances to management. The Company agrees to grant time off with pay, as may be reasonably necessary, to Union Stewards for the purpose of investigating or servicing any grievances or potential grievances on the Company's premises during normal working hours on request and with reasonable notice and when doing so does not unduly interfere with Company operations. Shop Stewards will conduct all other meetings with employees outside of working hours. 17.02 Shop Stewards will be allowed to wear Shop ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ badges while on duty.
