University Entry. The University reserves the right to have authorized personnel enter any unit for the purposes of inspection, repairs and/or other official business.
University Entry a. University personnel and contractors may enter any room during reasonable hours for inspections, to make repairs or alterations, or to conduct cleanliness and safety checks. Except in emergencies, when it is impractical, when a student’s roommate has checked out or when an occupant of the room has requested a repair, the University will give the Student at least 24 hours notice of its intent to enter the Student’s room and will enter only at reasonable times. University personnel and/or University Police may enter areas outside of Student’s room unannounced to conduct rounds concerning health, safety, or security checks, to enforce Housing and Residential Life Policies or other policies, or to investigate possible criminal activity. Student understands and acknowledges that Student has no expectation of privacy in common areas. Student agrees to be bound by the search and entry procedures of the University as they now exist or as they may be hereafter amended during the term of this Contract, as set forth in the EWU Student Conduct Code, Housing and Residential Life Policies, University policies, and state and federal law. If Student moves out without complying with the checkout procedures outlined in this contract, the Student waives his/her right to notification of entry. Further, by signing this contract, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ agrees that he/she is granting the University the authority to enter the room on or after the contract termination date to remove anything of the student’s (or other occupants of the room).

University Entry. University respects and appreciates Your right to privacy under applicable law. Although the University reserves a right to enter into Your Unit at any time that you are not physically present there, University: a. considers Your Unit to be reasonably comparable to a private domain when you are present; and b. to the extent practicable will endeavor in good faith to provide advance notice or obtain your permission before entering into the Unit, except under circumstances that include, without limitation, the following: a.   • University Any notice may be served upon the University by delivering it, in writing, to the University at the address set forth on the last page of this Agreement, by depositing it in a United States Postal Service deposit box with the postage fully prepaid and with the notice addressed to the University at the aforementioned address, or by sending a facsimile of it to the University facsimile number set forth on the last page of this Agreement.

  • Room Entry The Manager subscribes to the principle that Residents are entitled to enjoy a reasonable right to privacy in residence Rooms. However, the Resident acknowledges that the Manager is entitled, without notice and without the Resident being present, to have authorized staff, the Institution’s security services, emergency services, or the police enter the Room at reasonable times under the following conditions: (a) to provide repair and maintenance services as detailed in section 4.05 of this Agreement; (b) to provide housekeeping services as detailed in section 4.06 of this Agreement; (c) to ensure the safety and security of the Resident and/or when there is reasonable cause to believe an emergency situation has arisen; (d) during the Winter Break to provide routine maintenance; (e) when there is reasonable cause to believe that terms of this Agreement and/or the Residence Community Living Standards detailed in section 7.01 and/or the law is being violated. Authorized staff are supplied with a uniform and identification that is visible at all times.

  • Community Engagement The HSP will engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the Funder including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals. As part of its community engagement activities, the HSPs will have in place and utilize effective mechanisms for engaging families, caregivers, clients, residents, patients and other individuals who use the services of the HSP, to help inform the HSP plans.

  • Contractor Licensing, etc. Notwithstanding Section 14.c, District may terminate this Contract immediately by written notice to Contractor upon denial, suspension, revocation, or non-renewal of any license, permit, or certificate that Contractor must hold to provide services under this Contract.

  • TEACHERS AND RESEARCHERS 1. An individual who is a resident of a Contracting State immediately before making a visit to the other Contracting State, and who, at the invitation of any university, college, school or other similar educational institution, visits that other State for a period not exceeding two years solely for the purpose of teaching or research or both at such educational institution shall be exempt from tax in that other State on any remuneration for such teaching or research. 2. This Article shall not apply to income from research if such research is undertaken primarily for the private benefit of a specific person or persons.
