Use and Disclosure of Information Clause Samples

The 'Use and Disclosure of Information' clause defines how parties to an agreement may handle, share, and protect information exchanged during their relationship. Typically, this clause outlines what types of information are covered, such as confidential business data or personal details, and sets boundaries on when and with whom such information can be disclosed—often requiring consent or limiting disclosure to certain circumstances like legal obligations. Its core function is to safeguard sensitive information, ensuring it is not misused or improperly shared, thereby protecting the interests and privacy of the parties involved.
