Use of Allowances. Subtenant shall be entitled to apply the Master Lease Allowance (subject to the terms of the Master Lease) and the Sublandlord Allowance to hard and soft costs incurred by Subtenant to construct the Subtenant Improvements and to prepare for Subtenant’s occupancy to the Premises, including, without limitation, all architectural and engineering services, project management, design supervision and construction management fees, moving expenses, costs and expenses to acquire and install security systems, furniture, fixtures and equipment, permitting fees, signage, and data/telephone cabling. Sublandlord shall disburse the Allowances in accordance with the Disbursement Procedures set forth in Section 10.4.3 below.
Use of Allowances. The Special Training Allowance and the Tooling and Spare Engine Support and the Provisioning Support may be utilized by Airline for any purpose, including, without limitation, credit for training, tooling, spare engine or aircraft payments and spare parts.
Use of Allowances. The Trustees limit the use of allowances; however, the Trustees shall approve the use of any allowance, on a case by case basis. If the Trustees so approve, allowances may only be used for specific and discrete scopes of Work that were indeterminate at the time of producing the Guaranteed Final PPA Rate. The Licensee shall not aggregate allowances to create another Project contingency; the Licensee bears the cost risk of completing the Work covered by a Licensee Allowance, and shall return unused portions of the Licensee Allowance to the Trustees in a credit change order. The Trustees are responsible for the estimate on a Trustees’ allowance. The Licensee shall only use allowances for their identified specific and discrete purpose. The Licensee may not use allowance balances to make up deficits on other line items. The Trustees shall authorize each debit from an allowance in writing, using a field instruction. The Licensee shall maintain a detailed cost accounting, including allowances, and submit it with the monthly payment application for the Trustees’ approval. The trade contractors shall markup direct cost items in accordance with this Article, however, Trustees will not award to Licensee additional mark-ups or fees on allowances.
Use of Allowances. The Existing Premises Allowance and the New Premises Allowance are collectively herein referred to as the “Allowances”. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, the New Premises Allowance may only be used with respect to the relevant Lessee Improvement Allowance Items for the New Premises and the Existing Premises Allowance may only be used with respect to the relevant Lessee Improvement Allowance Items for the Existing Premises. Lessee shall not be allowed to apply any unused portion of the New Premises Allowance to the Existing Premises Allowance or vice versa. The Allowances shall be used towards the costs of Lessee Improvement Allowance Items only (defined below) and Lessor shall be under no obligation to fund costs relating to furniture and equipment including, without limitation, screening or viewing equipment, trade fixtures, moving expenses and other personal property, but costs for telecommunications, security, data, alarm systems and equipment which is an integral part thereof (and wiring and cabling therefore) shall be included in Lessee Improvement Allowance Items. In no event shall Lessor be obligated to make disbursements of Lessor’s funds pursuant to this Work Letter in a total amount which exceeds the cost of the Lessee Improvement Allowance Items. All such improvements shall be subject to all of the terms of this Exhibit B.
Use of Allowances. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Lease, the Expansion TI Allowance for the Initial 440 Expansion Premises and the Corridor Allowance may be used by Tenant for the Expansion Premises Tenant Improvements for the Initial 440 Expansion Premises, the Corridor Improvements or the Existing Bridge Improvements, or any combination thereof.

The Trustees are responsible for the estimate on a Trustees’ allowance. Design-Builder shall only use allowances for their identified specific and discrete purpose. Use of Allowances. The Tenant Improvement Allowance and the Additional Allowance shall be used solely for design and construction of permanent Tenant Improvements to the Premises and payment of the oversight fees identified in Subparagraph C.(1) below, and, except as provided in Subparagraph 6.B(1) below, shall not be used for the purchase of any personal property, furniture, fixtures, or equipment, nor for the construction or installation of any signage. Funds from the Tenant Improvement Allowance or Additional Allowance not used to pay for Tenant Improvement Costs as defined below incurred not later than that date which is three (3) calendar months following the Commencement Date (the “Tenant Improvement Period”) shall be and remain the sole property of Landlord.

Related to Use of Allowances

  • Uniform Allowance ‌ If the Employer requires an employee to supply and/or maintain specified clothing in place of a uniform which would otherwise be supplied and maintained for jobs involving the direct care of patients/residents, then a clothing/maintenance allowance of ten dollars ($10.00) per bi-weekly pay period shall be paid. This allowance does not apply to non-patient/non-resident areas.

  • Auto Allowance Executive shall be entitled to an auto allowance for one vehicle for Executive’s use up to $1,000 per month.

  • Other Allowances The District shall pay to each teacher appointed by the District to the following positions, the allowance respectively set forth opposite each such position, namely: (a) Supervisor 23,305 (b) Consultant 11,103 (c) Coordinating teacher 3,771

  • Car Allowance The Company shall provide the Executive an automobile allowance of $750 per month during the term of Executive’s employment hereunder.

  • Shift Allowances (a) An Employee whilst on afternoon or night shift must be paid for such shift 15% more than the Employee’s ordinary rate. (b) An Employee who works on an afternoon or night shift which does not continue for at least five successive afternoons or nights must be paid for such shift at time and a half for the first two hours thereof and double time thereafter. (c) An Employee who: (i) during a period of engagement on shift, works night shift only; (ii) remains on night shift for a longer period than four consecutive weeks; or (iii) works on a night shift which does not rotate or alternate with another shift or with day work so as to give the Employee at least one third of their working time off night shift in each shift cycle; must, during such engagement, period or cycle, be paid 30% more than their ordinary rate for all time worked during ordinary working hours on such night shift.
