Use of Compensatory Time Off. Any compensatory time off from overtime or court time that is not used by December 31st of each year will be paid by the Town; however, each officer shall have the option of banking up to sixteen (16) hours of compensatory time off to be used in the following calendar year. An officer may have a maximum of fifty six (56) hours of total compensatory time off in the months of January through April; however, by May 1st of each year no officer may have more than forty (40) hours of total compensatory time off from all sources.
