Use of Isolation, Seclusion and Restrictive Measures Clause Samples

The 'Use of Isolation, Seclusion and Restrictive Measures' clause defines the conditions and procedures under which a facility or service provider may isolate, seclude, or otherwise restrict an individual's movement or behavior. It typically outlines the specific circumstances that justify such measures, such as imminent risk of harm to self or others, and may require documentation, oversight, and periodic review of each incident. This clause serves to protect the rights and safety of individuals by ensuring that restrictive interventions are used only when absolutely necessary and in accordance with established protocols, thereby preventing misuse or abuse.
