Use of the Sub-Adviser’s Name Clause Samples

The "Use of the Sub-Adviser’s Name" clause defines the conditions under which a party, typically the primary adviser or fund, may use the name, trademarks, or branding of the sub-adviser in connection with marketing, communications, or fund materials. This clause often specifies whether prior written consent is required, the scope of permitted use, and any restrictions or obligations regarding the presentation of the sub-adviser’s identity. Its core function is to protect the sub-adviser’s brand and reputation by controlling how and when its name is used, thereby preventing unauthorized or misleading associations.
