Common use of Use of Video and Audio Recording for Educator Professional Development Clause in Contracts

Use of Video and Audio Recording for Educator Professional Development. The District may provide educators with video/audio recording opportunities to enhance professional development and improve instruction. Video/audio recordings will not be used in any part of the evaluation system. The District will provide the appropriate parental release forms to the educator or other proof of parental permission to legally allow for the video/audio taping of students. Educator participation in professional development video/audio recordings will be voluntary. Only the educator will control the storage, use and access to viewing and listening of the recordings. If the recordings are made on District equipment the educator shall have the right to delete the recordings and the District will make no attempt to retrieve deleted recordings.
