Common use of Utility Work Clause in Contracts

Utility Work. Manhattan Beach USD expressly understands and agrees that Excusable Delay may occur due to Interconnection Facilities work that may need to be performed by the local electric utility (“Utility”) in order for Chevron Energy Solutions to fully implement the Project. “Interconnection Facilities” means any distribution or transmission lines and other facilities that may be required to connect equipment supplied under this Contract to an electrical distribution/transmission system owned and maintained by the Utility. Any Interconnection Facilities work that may be required will be performed by the Utility under the Interconnection Agreement.
