Common use of Verification of Invoices Clause in Contracts

Verification of Invoices. System Agency reserves the right to verify the details set forth in Contractor’s invoices, either before or after payment, by requesting additional information including inspecting books of the Contractor at a mutually convenient time or documentation which clearly indicates an activity has taken place or an expense has been incurred. Any revisions deemed necessary to the invoices by HHSC will require the Contractor to resubmit the invoice with a new date the invoice is submitted.
