Common use of WAGES, HOURS AND OVERTIME Clause in Contracts

WAGES, HOURS AND OVERTIME. Replace the first two sentences with the following: "This group normally will work a twelve day with three (3) or four (4) consecutive, days off, as shown on the shift schedule." Change to read: and "Shift employees on a two-shift, schedule will report at a.m. and may punch out up to fifteen minutes early when properly relieved by the shift." Second sentence to be replaced with the following: "Overtime for continuous operations will normally be covered by work on days off and may be scheduled at the discretion of supervision to correct inequities in overtime distribution. The "spareboard" will only be used when there is insufficient notice to schedule overtime.
