Common use of WARNING SLIPS Clause in Contracts

WARNING SLIPS. 11.01 Copies of written warnings will be provided to the Union. After a period of two (2) consecutive years from the date of any written warning, such discipline will be removed from the employee's record. In the case of a suspension, such discipline will be removed from the employee's record after a period of two (2) consecutive years only if he/she has been free of discipline for any similar or related offence during this period. A union shop ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or other union representative shall sign all written discipline issued to employees as acknowledgement of receipt of such discipline. Such acknowledgement does not mean the union representative is in agreement with the discipline.
