Warranty as to Title Sample Clauses
A Warranty as to Title clause guarantees that the party transferring property or goods has the legal right to do so and that the title being transferred is free from undisclosed encumbrances or claims. In practice, this means the seller assures the buyer that they own the asset outright and that no third party has a hidden interest or lien on it. This clause is essential for protecting buyers from future disputes or losses arising from defective or unclear ownership, ensuring the buyer receives full and undisputed ownership of the asset.
