Witness Lists Sample Clauses

The Witness Lists clause requires each party in a legal proceeding to provide a list of individuals they intend to call as witnesses during a trial or hearing. Typically, this clause sets deadlines for exchanging these lists and may require parties to include brief descriptions of each witness’s expected testimony. By mandating the advance disclosure of witnesses, the clause ensures both sides have adequate time to prepare for cross-examination and helps prevent surprise testimony, thereby promoting fairness and efficiency in the legal process.
