Wmata Coordination Sample Clauses

The WMATA Coordination clause establishes requirements for coordinating activities with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) during a project. Typically, this clause mandates that the contractor or project team must communicate with WMATA regarding scheduling, access, safety protocols, and any work that may impact WMATA facilities or operations. For example, if construction occurs near a Metro line or station, the contractor must obtain necessary approvals and follow WMATA’s procedures. The core function of this clause is to ensure that project activities do not disrupt WMATA services and that all work is performed in compliance with WMATA’s standards, thereby minimizing operational risks and ensuring public safety.
