Common use of Work in Other Classifications Clause in Contracts

Work in Other Classifications. When an employee is requested to do work in a higher rated classification he/she shall receive the rate of pay for all hours of work in the higher rated classification. When an employee is requested to work in a lower rated classification for less than a full day, he/she shall receive his/her regular rate for all work performed.

The Employer may utilize employees interchangeably in the various classifications.
