WORKING FOREMEN. When the crew size is five (5) or less, including the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ may be required to work with the tools of the trade.
WORKING FOREMEN. When the Employer chooses to employ a working ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, such working ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ must be a member of the IBEW and in possession of an Ontario Certificate of Qualification as a licensed electrician. When a working ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ is employed he shall receive a eight (8) percent per hour premium above the regular journeyman’s rate. One (1) Journeyman must be designated as a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ when the following conditions exist: ▪ They have supervisory and/or layout responsibilities and they direct six (6) or more employees and they act as a company representative when dealing with builders or superintendents and foremen on behalf of the on-site general contractors. One ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall not supervise more than twelve (12) employees. ▪ On all projects requiring a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, employees are not to take directions from anyone except the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or anyone in a supervisory or managerial capacity with the employer. ▪ All Foremen must be members of the IBEW and in possession of an Ontario Certificate of Qualification as a licensed electrician.
WORKING FOREMEN. 12.1 Official, managerial or supervisory employees shall not be allowed to perform the work of bargaining unit members when the latter are available. This is not intended to restrict the use of working foremen in accordance with established practice at small points.
WORKING FOREMEN. Employees outside of the bargaining unit will not perform work that is normally done by employees in the bargaining unit. However, nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as prohibiting foremen from doing work for purposes of instruction, provided in doing so a layoff of bargaining unit employees does not result, or in the case of an emergency when regular employees are not available, provided that every reasonable effort is made to find a replacement.
WORKING FOREMEN. The selection, determination and designation of foremen is the sole responsibility of the Employer. Any foremen performing bargaining unit work shall come under the terms of this Agreement.
WORKING FOREMEN. The Parties agree that the Employer may designate a work- ing ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. When such designation is made; such working ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall receive a premium above journeyman caulk- er of Two Dollars ($2.00) per hour.
WORKING FOREMEN. Where the crew size is (5) or less, the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ may work with the tools on mutual agreement of the Employer and the Local Business Manager.
WORKING FOREMEN. 9.2.1 Foremen, principal owner, related employee and Shop Superintendent shall be allowed to perform bargaining unit work but the number of such working foremen shall not exceed one (1) ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ for each five (5) employees or part thereof. 9.2.2 During workforce adjustments, working foremen will be reduced in similar whole numbers to the percentage laid off, or reassigned to non-manufacturing work, provided that the remaining employees have sufficient skills, qualifications and abilities to perform the job. Such designee’s will be spelled out and not allowed to make product until favorable percentages return, thus preserving manufacturing hours for the remaining workforce.
