Writing Examinations Clause Samples
Writing Examinations. An employee will be entitled to leave of absence with pay, and without loss of seniority and benefits to write examinations which are relevant to the employee's occupation, providing it is the first time of taking leave to sit for this particular examination, or portion of an examination.
Writing Examinations. An employee shall be granted one (1) additional day per year with pay to attend the writing of their own post-secondary examinations. A leave of this nature is subject to prior approval of the Executive Officer of Human Resources, or designate in consultation with the employee’s supervisor.

Where an examination is written on a weekend but not locally, one day will be granted, on the same conditions.
