Your Liability for Unauthorized Transactions Sample Clauses
The "Your Liability for Unauthorized Transactions" clause defines the extent to which an account holder is responsible for losses resulting from transactions they did not authorize. Typically, this clause outlines the conditions under which the user must report suspicious or unauthorized activity, such as lost or stolen cards, and may specify timeframes for notification to limit liability. Its core function is to allocate risk between the user and the service provider, encouraging prompt reporting of unauthorized use while protecting both parties from undue losses.
