Activating the Card. The Card has no value and cannot be used until it is activated by you. Use of the Card: You are solely and completely responsible for the possession, use and control of the Card. If we determine that you have obtained or used the Card fraudulently, or contrary to the terms of this Agreement, you agree that you must surrender the Card to us immediately upon request by us. The Card may not be used for any illegal transactions or purposes. If you authorize another person to use the Card you agree, to the extent permitted by Applicable Law, that you will be liable for all transactions arising from use of the Card by such person. Recovery from loss, theft or unauthorized use: You will be asked to provide us with your name, the Card number, the three digit security code, and the transaction history. We cannot re-issue a Card if you do not have your Card number and security code. If our records show that a Balance still remains on the Card, we will cancel the Card and make such Balance available to you on a re-issued Card. You are responsible for checking our Website for such notifications. You will be deemed to accept and be bound by the amendment upon use of the Card following the effective date of the amendment. If you do not agree to any change of this Agreement, you agree to immediately stop using the Card and notify Peoples Trust that you are terminating this Agreement.

  • Communications service provider means a service provider that provides broadband service.

  • Telecommunications service provider means that term as defined in Section 219a of the Michigan Penal Code, supra, as may be amended from time to time. As of January 2012, "Telecommunications Service Provider" is defined to mean any of the following:

  • Wireless service provider means a person that provides wireless service to the public.

  • Communications services means any service provided for the purpose of transmission of information including, but not limited to, voice, video, or data, without regard to the transmission protocol employed, whether or not the transmission medium is owned by the provider itself. “Communications service” includes all forms of telephone services and voice, video, data or information transport, but does not include: (1) cable service; (2) open video system service, as defined in 47 C.F.R. 76; (3) public communications systems; (4) over-the-air radio or television broadcasting to the public-at-large from facilities licensed by the Federal Communications Commission or any successor thereto; and (5) direct-to-home satellite service within the meaning of Section 602 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996, Pub. L. 104–104, 110 Stat. 56 (1996).

  • Prepaid wireless telecommunications service means a wireless communications service that provides the right to utilize mobile wireless service as well as other nontelecommunications services, including the download of digital products delivered electronically, content and ancillary services, which must be paid for in advance, and that is sold in predetermined units or dollars of which the amount declines with use in a known amount.
