Common Source definition

Common Source means any bulk quantity, common container, or freely available alcoholic beverage (e.g., beer, wine, liquor, or punch) that is provided by a student group, member, or guest and that is made available for consumption by any member or guest at a social event. Possessing, furnishing, consuming, or serving from a common source of alcohol is strictly prohibited. A common source shall not include “cash bars” operated by a licensed third party vendor that comply with these guidelines.

Common Source. Alcohol: (e.g., kegs, “bubbas,” Jell-­‐O shooters, Texas mickeys, or other large containers of alcohol (defined as 14oz of beer/60oz hard liquor/1.5L of wine) including home brewing or wine making equipment and /or participating in “drinking games,” including, but not limited to; flip cup, beer pong, century club, and funneling. The University reserves the right to confiscate alcohol related paraphernalia (e.g., funnels) deemed to be associated with mass consumption of alcohol or its promotion in residence.
