  • Accordingly, if the method of calculating a Component Index or a Successor Index is modified so that the level of such index is a fraction of what it would have been if it had not been modified, then the Calculation Agent shall adjust such index in order to arrive at a level of such Component Index or such Successor Index as if it had not been modified.

  • The Calculation Agent shall calculate the Closing Index Level of a Component Index on any particular day and the Maturity Payment Amount with reference to such Component Index or such Successor Index, as adjusted.

  • In the event that a Market Measure Publisher discontinues publication of a Basket Component Index and: • the Calculation Agent does not select a Successor Basket Component Index; or • the Successor Basket Component Index is not published on any of the Calculation Days, the Calculation Agent shall compute a substitute level for such Basket Component Index in accordance with the procedures last used to calculate such Basket Component Index before any discontinuance.

  • The SEHK will include and exclude securities as China Connect Securities based on the prescribed criteria under the China Connect Rules, any adjustments made to the SSE 180 Index and SSE 380 Index, any adjustments made to the SZSE Component Index and SZSE Small/Mid Cap Innovation Index, any relevant A Shares and H Shares being listed on or delisted from SSE, SZSE and/or the SEHK, and any relevant A Shares being placed under or released from risk alert.

Related to Component Index

  • Index Component means those securities, assets or reference values of which the Index is comprised from time to time.
